I have for a long time had Password Agent installed on my D: drive. But on every update it insists installing it under "c:\Program Files\Moon Software\Password Agent 2017\", and never prompts me to pick a drive/directory. Know issue? Do I need to do a full uninstall and reinstall perhaps?

It installs to default location, you cannot change that. Why you want to install on D drive? Installation if programs and apps moves to the direction where these are stored in protected directories by the OS.

Alternatively you can download the program files without installer (zip file, see Download page) and put them where you like.
