When trying to enter key code in Windows Vista/7 you may see the following message displayed even if currently logged in user has administrator privileges:
"On Windows NT/2000/XP administrator privileges are required to enter your key code. Log in as administrator or ask your system administrator complete the task."
The reason is that by default Windows Vista/7 executes all programs under limited user account even if you are logged in as administrator. This new feature is called UAC (User Account Control).
To start Password Agent as administrator, right-click its shortcut and choose Run as Administrator command from context menu. Then enter your key code as instructed and close Password Agent. Now you can run the program again as usual.
