| By default Password Agent uses your system default web browser to open links. But sometimes you may want to open certain links using an alternative browser or application. You can achieve this by specifying your alternative browser or program executable in the Link field.
For example if you use Firefox as your default web browser, but want to open some links using Internet Explorer, then you can write to the Link field:
Or if you are using Firefox as your default browser then to open certain link with Internet Explorer you can write in link field:
Keep in mind that you can use only some known program using by their file name only, without full path (like iexplore.exe or Firefox). Most programs must have full path specified. If the path contains spaces you need to include it in double quotes:
"C:\Program Files\FTP Program\ftp.exe" ftp://www.yourwebsite.com
Tip: Note the Test Link button right after Link field, you can use it to test the link you are editing.
Tip: You can launch any kind of programs using Open Link command, they don't have to be Internet related at all!
